Glamour Magazine Does It Again!

So as you may have read last month I was so happy to see that Glamour magazine were giving away an Eyeko Skinny Liner with their £2 July issue. Once again they have made me buy their August Issue. This month issue has a Clinique Chubby Stick worth £13.50 and the issue is once again just £2.

I am loving these "chubby stick" style lip colours at the moment and have quite a few from different drugstore brands so was quite excited to try the original. I choose the colour Super Strawberry, not only because I have read that this is the best selling colour in the U.S but also because I wanted to get something different, the other colour I had to choose from was more of a baby pink, which the majority of the lip colours I own are! Super Strawberry is a muted red shade. I really like this colour its definitely an everyday colour, its one of those "your lips but better", sort of colours. It is a tinted balm so not highly pigmented but I felt like it gave a nice sheen and definitely made my lips feel moisturised, it doesn't cling to dry patches and doesn't bleed.

Overall I really like this product but don't feel like its worth the retail price £17.00 as I feel this is near enough identical to my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain which is just £7.99. Saying that at £2.00 you cant really complain!

What a bargain | Glamour Magazine

Hello!

I recently saw that Glamour magazine were giving away a Eyeko Skinny Liner in navy, so obviously I had to get it. They are also giving away the black one but I already have it and I have been on the hunt for a nice navy liner. I feel like its tricky to find the right blue when looking for a liquid liner, some blues remind me of that cheap make-up you'd buy as a child!

This blue is perfect, you can wear it everyday without it looking ghastly. It also makes my blue eyes stand out which I was quite surprised at as I would normally steer clear of blue and head for more bronze-y colours.

It comes in Glamour Magazine which is just £2 and also comes with a sample of Prada Candy Fragrance, L'oreal Skin Perfection and Hawaiian Tropic Satin Protection! This is the July edition so it will be in stores at the moment and if you struggle with applying eye-liner, I would highly recommend you give the Eyeko Skinny Liner a try as it is definitely the easiest liner I have ever tried to apply!

Glamour Magazine December 2012

Glamour magazine's December issue have nails inc freebies! I was so excited when I noticed this in the shop a few days ago but the only nails inc they had were the pale pink one (Elizabeth Street).

I went to the shop today and they had the gold glitter one (Glamour Glitter) so I picked it up! I am hoping to get the red (St James) and the blue (Motcomb Street) as soon as I find them!
I was so happy when I managed to get the gold glitter and to top it off when I opened the magazine there were also samples of Rimmel's BB cream, Maxfactor's face finity foundation, NIVEA's express hydration primer, Angel perfume and Elie saab perfume. The magazine is only £2.00 so for a magazine, a nails inc polish and 5 samples i don't think that's bad at all!

When I first used the Glamour Glitter I have to admit I was a little bit disappointed as it is a sparse glitter I was hoping for a really glittery polish that you could just use on its own but if you do want a little bit of glitter you can just put this on top of another colour and it looks quite pretty and Christmas-y.

This is a picture of the Glamour Glitter over my ESSIE (Russian Roulette).

Have you picked up the Glamour Magazine? - If you havent, then go and get it, these polishes retail at £11.00 each so it truly is a bargain!
what colour/colours did you or will you get?
