Molton Brown

Beauty on trial sent me some products from Molton Brown's new range to review. I was really excited to try these as I always hear people raving on about Molton Brown products.

I choose the volumising products as I have really fine hair and I always struggle to get
volume!
After using the shampoo and conditioner I blow dried my hair. My hair felt lovely and smooth and looked really shiny, it did give me more volume than I'd usually get, without going greasy - I often find that volumising shampoos and conditioners do make your hair feel slightly greasy.
Overall I thought the products were lovely, nice packaging, quality products. The only downside is that when I went onto the Molton Brown website to see the price of these they retail at £18.00 each (300ml). Now I don't know if it just me but I would never pay £36.00 for a shampoo and a conditioner, I do like the products a lot so if I suddenly won lots of money then I probably would but unfortunately for now once I have run out of these I will have to go back to my usual Herbal Essences!

A mini shopping Spree.....

I went shopping yesterday, mainly to buy some new clothes but I came across a couple of make-up goodies that I needed and I thought I would share them with you!

So I was in Superdrug and thought I really need some more foundation - but I was feeling lazy and couldn't be bothered to walk to the other end of town to Debenhams for my usual Estee lauder - plus I couldn't bare to pay full price and stupid me I'd just missed the sale! Anyway I was looking at the foundations and noticed Maxfactor's Colour adapt, now I like the majority of maxfactor's products beacuse they are good quality, I tried it on my hand and it seemed to have good coverage and it felt nice and smooth, so I picked it up, it was £9.99 and I got it in the colour 45.Warm almond. I do think that the packaging is a bit of a disappointment it just looks cheap its made of plastic unlike the more high end foundations which are made of glass, but I will see how it goes - you never know it could save me a lot of money!

Before I went to pay I popped over to the MeMeMe display as I cant resist it. I picked up some MeMeMe long wear satin lip cream, these come in really cute packaging they each have different goddess's on the side of the box and each have a different goddess's name. The one I got has Hemera on it and the colour is Coral Cloak. I have tried these before and they are long lasting and the colours are really pretty. The only down side of these are they do smell a bit cheap but I can put up with that as the colours make up for it! These retail at £8.50 but are currently on offer on the MeMeMe website for £6.50 - which is a bargain!

MeMeMe

Hi guys, yesterday I went and picked up a MeMeMe goody bag from a friend of mine who works for the MeMeMe company.
I have heard of the brand before but have never used their products. So I thought I would write some short reviews on the products.

My MeMeMe Goody Bag

Blush Me! - Blusher in Coral = This is a lovely blusher its smooth to apply, it has a mirror inside which is always handy and it comes with a cute little brush. Now for anyone who read my blog on the Benefit blushers this is pretty much the same but only a fraction of the price at £8.50 each - these come in four lovely colours - bronze, coral, pink and rouge.

Blush me!

MeMeMe nail collection, long lasting gloss = This nail polish comes with a maxi brush the idea of this is that you should only have to do one stoke and your nail is covered -I don't think it works and I think you do still need to do a few stokes and I do two coats. I have used MeMeMe nail polishes in the past and they last a long time without chipping and they have an amazing range of colours. These retail at £4.50.

MeMeMe Eye line - in Coal = There isn't much you can write on an eye-liner but I really like this kohl liner. It comes out really soft and glides on easily and it is long lasting. The MeMeMe eye line comes in four colours which are Clay, Coal, Lagoon and Moss. These retail at £4.99

MeMeMe Fat Cat Volumising mascara = This isn't my favourite mascara I've ever used, its not terrible it does give you some volume and at £7.99 its cheap. I don't like the brush on it, as it is very stiff and bristly. Unfortunately I wont be swapping my Lancome Hypnose for this but ill probably just use this in the day and stick to my lancome when I'm going out.

MeMeMe Light Me Up high shine lip gloss - in luminous - I adore this lip gloss, its not to sticky, really glossy, smells minty, comes with a mirror on it and it lights up! this is normally £6.99 but is on offer at the moment at £4.99 - BARGAIN! I have this in the luminous colour which is a bright pink. Now normally when you buy glosses you choose a colour and the gloss comes out a really toned down version of that colour - but not this on it comes out on your lips a really bright pink. This gloss has "plumping agents for a natural pout." I Love the light which would really come in handy on a night out as you can apply it in the dark.
